As businesses face shrinking margins, global competition, and the need to deliver exceptional customer experiences, they also face the need to change the way they do business. But how do you successfully execute change and mitigate the risks of a project- including costs, scheduling, and performance?
You implement an effective Organizational Change Management (OCM) program.
For example, McKinsey & Company studied the effect that Organizational Change Management has on a project’s ROI. The study determined that ROI increased by 143% when an excellent OCM program was part of the initiative. On the flip side, ROI is typically only 35% when no program (or a poorly executed one) is implemented. Clearly, continuing to deploy projects without change management is not a profitable way to do business.
There are many components of change management, and in this class we’ll cover:
- The psychology of change
- Why projects fail
- Tips on how to successfully implement changes, resulting in a thriving company atmosphere
